Wabi-Sabi Yoga & Wellness isn’t just a place to practice it’s a place to belong. Founded in 2018 by Pia Johns, a nurse turned trainer and lifelong dancer, our studio grew from one woman’s mission to make wellness accessible for every body. Whether you’re just starting out or deepening your practice, you’ll find a warm welcome here.
Pia spent years working with seniors and underserved populations as a nurse and fitness instructor. She saw firsthand how isolating traditional wellness spaces could be. So she created Wabi-Sabi a sanctuary for those who don’t see themselves in typical yoga culture. Today, we’re proud to serve everyone from seniors to working professionals with inclusive, hybrid classes designed to meet you where you are.
Wabi-Sabi is a Japanese philosophy that celebrates the worn, the real, and the unfinished. It’s about showing up as you are and finding grace in the journey, not the destination.
At Wabi-Sabi Yoga & Wellness, we embody this belief in every class, every interaction, and every story shared. Whether your path is steady or wobbly, you’re in the right place.
